Hidden Gem #1: A Toast to the Miners
Oh, you've probably heard of Main Street and its fancy restaurants, but let me introduce you to our personal favorite: This is the REAL BAR in town if you're thinking a "BAR BAR" which actually exists in ParkCity and dominates all of UTAH. *Trivia more alcohol is SOLD at the No Name than any other bar / restaurant or establishment in the entire state of UTAH. Yup it's that place. But the No Name Saloon isn't just any ol' pick up with a burger bar. It's also HISTORY RICH where the original gold and silver miners used to gather back in the day to raise many a glass after a hard day's work. The walls are covered in "stuff" of history, and the atmosphere is buzzing with locals, tourists & imports from down the Valley looking for the latest divorcees in Park City :0. Plus, their buffalo burger will make your taste buds do a happy dance or at least cure the hangover!

Hidden Gem #2: Time Travel at the Egyptian Theatre
This is a GREAT PLACE! Prepare to be transported to another era at the Egyptian Theatre. This vintage gem has been standing tall since 1926 and hosts an array of performances some almost as old as the building itself :0. Think Vintage ROCK acts, and plays often come through town. A comfy delight that will leave you spellbound. We remember watching a mind-blowing magic show here once, and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a portal of wonder and disbelief. Check their schedule and catch a show you won't be disappointed!
Hidden Gem #3: Skiing with a Twist
We're in Park City, people! You can't talk about hidden gems without mentioning the world-class skiing we have at our fingertips. But here's the twist: head to the Canyons Resort and seek out 9990. It's a hidden section of the mountain where the locals shred and the powder is always fresh. Zip through the trees, catch some air, and feel the rush that only Park City can deliver. *but don't tell ANYONE! *DOUBLE BLACK DIAMOND ONLY - NO GROOMERS OR DOWNLOADS, you have been warned ;)
Hidden Gem #4: A Zen Oasis
When the hustle and bustle of life in Park City gets overwhelming, retreat down to Herber Valley and the Homestead Crater for a surreal experience. Imagine a natural hot spring tucked inside a 55-foot limestone beehive-shaped LAVA dome. Yeah, mind-blowing, right, trust us it's TRIPPY & quite unique! Soak in the warm mineral waters, take a scuba diving lesson if you're feeling adventurous, or simply unwind and let the serenity of the surroundings wash over you. The WARM "chill" has arrived aux naturalle of course.
Hidden Gem #5: High Above the Clouds
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF GREATNESS: Okay, prepare yourself for an adrenaline rush like no other. The Utah Olympic Park offers a bobsled experience that will have you clinging to the edge of your seat. You'll zip down the icy track (OR SUMMER ROLLERS), reaching speeds that will make your heart leap into your throat (70 mph-ish). We've done both, and let me tell you, we screamed like a banshee the entire way down. It's a memory that still gives us goosebumps! #SENDIT
Hidden Gem #6: Nature's Masterpiece
Now, picture this: a natural amphitheater nestled in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Welcome to the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater! During the summer, this hidden gem comes alive with concerts and performances that will leave you speechless. Pack a picnic, lay back on the grass, and let the music transport you to another realm. Trust me, it's pure magic. Great venue,.. great shows, great atmosphere all at the base of Deer Valley Resort. Check their website for the event schedule, and CHILL at 6900'.
Hidden Gem #7: Sweet Tooth Paradise
You have been warned!
If you have a weakness for sugary delights like uis, you simply can't miss Java Cow. It's a whimsical ice cream shop where the flavors are as eccentric as the décor. Try their bacon-flavored ice cream. Yes, you heard that right. Bacon! Don't knock it until you've tried it, my friend. Their creative concoctions will send your taste buds on a wild journey of flavors and you'll be glad you are DOWNTOWN to walk it off!
Hidden Gem #8: A Journey Back in Time
GET YOUR HISTORY ON!
Prepare to be transported back to the days of the Wild West at the Park City Museum. Stroll through the exhibits and marvel at the artifacts that tell the stories of our colorful past. One particular exhibit showcases the historic mining era, and you can even try your hand at panning for gold. Spoiler alert: I never struck it rich, but it sure was a fun experience! Oh the stories, don't be afraid to ask, Park City is full of them!
Hidden Gem #9: Hiking Haven
PACK IT IN - PACK IT OUT :)
Now, let's lace up our boots and hit the trails! Armstrong Trail is a local favorite, known for its picturesque scenery and hidden surprises, ponds and lakes along the way. As you hike, keep an eye out for DEER, ELK, MOOSE, FOX, COYOTE and of course an old miner's cabin tucked away amidst the trees. It's a humbling reminder of the rich history that runs through our veins here in Park City. Oh, and the panoramic views from the top? Depending on the season, the WOLDFLOWERS will be Simply mind-blowing. *don't forget to pack lots of water and snacks! trust us on this one :)
Hidden Gem #10: Sunset Spectacle
LOCALS SECRET SPOT: Last but certainly not least, we have a secret spot for you to catch a mind-blowing sunset. Drive up to Guardsman Pass, find a cozy spot on a hill, and watch as the sun paints the sky with hues you never thought possible. We've spent countless evenings here, witnessing nature's grand finale of the day, and each time, it leaves me in awe of the beauty that surrounds us. Bring your bike and slide down Mid-Mountain trail to town through the Aspens. Also stop and take some picture on the Altar of DIRT CHURCH.. and leave your reservation on a ROCK!
