The Craziness all started before we were even born...
Mom was a young attractive and extremely adventurous flight attendant for the once iconic Pan Am Airlines. For months she had been planning her route to extend her layover in Tokyo and take me to my first (in utero) Olympics in Tokyo.
Although I don't remember much but the ROAR of the crowds my enthusiasm was born and it has grown ever since. 5 months later I was born in Santa Monica California with my arms already stretched High in the air for USA. Mom left us in 2009 but her memory, spirit and crazy attraction for the Games lives on.
Our first Olympic experience "together" happened in Albertville France 1992. Since our trip to Tokyo she had been to Lake Placid, Los Angeles, Calgary and now in fabulous France. Dreams do come true with a last minute call of cancelled reservations by some wonderful friends we got the nod, the tickets, the hotel, THE GAMES and the memories of a lifetime.
FLASH Forward 2014 we're a FAMILY of Skiers and Snowboarders living in America's LARGEST resort of Park City (Sister City) to another former Olympic City Courchevel France where our trip together lives on today. VIVE LA FRANCE!
